Overview:

Located in Akurdi, Pune, DY Patil International University (DYPIU) is a progressive institution known for its innovation-driven academic ecosystem and learner-centric approach. Established in 2018, the university serves as a hub for interdisciplinary education across engineering, management, design, and emerging technologies like AI and robotics. Objective:

The primary goal was to design and develop a comprehensive suite of ceremonial branding and commemorative materials for DYPIU’s 5th Convocation Ceremony. The project aimed to establish a refined, timeless visual language that honored the university’s academic legacy while elevating the prestige and emotional significance of the graduation milestone.

Our Contribution:

Ceremonial Visual Language:

Developed a cohesive and premium design system tailored specifically for the 5th Convocation. The aesthetic was carefully crafted to balance academic tradition with the university’s forward-thinking, modern identity.

Custom Keepsakes & Regalia:

Designed unique, tangible symbols of student achievement. This included the conceptualization and creation of a bespoke Degree Holding Canister, custom-designed medals, and an exclusive custom wax seal stamp to add a mark of timeless authenticity.

Commemorative Editorial & Print:

Designed and produced all essential ceremonial literature. We delivered premium file folders, the official Convocation Magazine, and detailed Convocation Reports, ensuring all printed materials felt significant and cohesive.

Merchandise & Event Collateral:

Curated and designed branded physical assets to enhance the guest and graduate experience. This included custom bags, enamel pins, and exclusive branded merchandise that served as lasting, high-quality mementos of the day.

Outcome:

The project delivered a highly cohesive and prestigious visual experience across all ceremonial touchpoints for DYPIU’s 5th Convocation. By blending a refined, timeless aesthetic with high-quality physical deliverables, the bespoke collateral successfully amplified the university’s academic legacy and transformed the graduation milestone into a deeply memorable event for students and guests.
